writing some sample sentences now

Algeria wonderful Osama is from Algeria

welcome welcome

and I know that this this time I had

many of my students tell me that this

time is difficult for them it is the

morning here in the US but for many of

you it might be in the middle of the

workday it might be in the middle of the

night so I want to I want to make sure

that even the people who are watching

this after the phrasal verb training

finishes can understand what’s happening

so I’ll try to be as organized as

possible I know that the last time I did

this

my husband Daniel was doing it with me

so he could help with reading the

comments and helping with some of the

other things today he’s not here he was

really sad he wished he could be here

with you maybe the next time so it will

be only me speaking teaching you and

also checking the comments so please

forgive any momentary pause I hope that

it will go as smoothly as possible I

have a lot of exciting things prepared

for you and I believe now we are a few

minutes and we are going to get started

all right so at the moment I believe

those of you who are in the chat box I

know who know who I am you’ve been

following my videos for a little while

now but I want to make sure I’m going to

close these windows I want to make sure

that those of you who who are joining me

for the first time know who I am what

we’re doing here and how I can help you

so I’m Vanessa and I’m from the website

speak English with Vanessa that’s me and

I’ve been teaching English online for

about 10 months now I’ve been an English

teacher for over five years but online

is a new place for me and I love beating

people online it’s a great chance to

connect one-on-one have some really

intimate time to be able to

focus on individual students so this is

a really great place for me I think it’s

a great place for students you can

improve your English one-on-one with a

teacher so I meet students on skype and

we have lessons over Skype just them

just me sometimes they’re holding their

baby sometimes they need to walk around

the house for a moment it’s very

convenient and it’s a very casual

atmosphere I love it and I think my

students are pleased so far too so I

also make youtube videos as you can see

here today I am doing one of those lives

and I hope that those of you who have

watched my videos have found them useful

so those of you who are in the comments

who are here with me live can you let me

know in the chat box let me know in the

chat box do you follow me on other

social media where do you find your

information where do you find the videos

that I put out do you find them through

email do you find them through Facebook

do you find them through Twitter maybe

YouTube maybe someone else tells you hey

vanessa has a new video watch it if how

do you find out the about the new

information that I give to you about

every week I make two new English

learning videos and they’re free and I

provide them to you I send them through

through email I send them sometimes on

Facebook I send them through other

places so I’m very curious where do you

find them where do you find my video

lesson let me know in the chat box and I

will read your comments to find out what

you have to say oh we have someone else

new with us

Antonio Antonio welcome Antonio thank

you for joining me and as i said i’m

vanessa from speak english with vanessa

calm today we’re going to talk about 5

out phrasal verbs phrasal verbs you love

them or hate them but it doesn’t matter

because you need them if you want to be

a fluent confident English speaker

that’s just a fact we use them in

everyday life all the time

non-stop so this is something that is

very very useful and today we’re going

to be talking about five

out phrasal verbs and I believe that

it’s useful to to learn about out words

or over words or about words these kind

of phrasal verbs are useful because you

can put them together in in a category

it’s easier to remember them when they

are all together in this kind of

organization all right we have some

comments coming in for how do you find

me on on the Internet

Osama says Twitter and emails Utah how

Utah hi from Japan I’m so glad you’re

here welcome welcome

Utah says uh hi Vanessa I’m okay now all

good and run Ellie says email and

YouTube URI hyeri hi from Japan nice to

see you I mentioned the URI in one of my

videos the other day about YouTube she

is are about watching English TV shows

she is a very dedicated student and

Slava says Facebook and YouTube and

newsletters great Slav is everywhere

that’s excellent

ah so today as you can see I want to

make sure you can test out the comment

chat section this is how we’re going to

write some sample sentences today I’m

glad that it’s working smoothly and I

hope that there are no distractions from

my cats everything goes fine so now that

you have a you have written in the chat

box we’ve gotten started a little bit I

like to introduce the first phrasal verb

but first I want to ask you have you

downloaded the outline I emailed you

when you signed up for this training I

emailed you an outline with some

different questions that we’re going to

go over today and I think this is useful

because you can keep track in your mind

you can review in your mind and through

writing so you’re listening and writing

and watching there’s these different

skills together will help the phrasal

verbs to become more ingrained more into

your mind so if you have the phrasal

verb outline the training outline I

recommend taking a look at that if you

don’t have it it’s okay it’s not

the end of the world and I want to let

you know at the end of the training I’m

going to be offering you a special

phrasal verb master class this is a

class where we’re going to be able to

really focus on these phrasal verbs and

take your phrasal verb knowledge to the

next level so let’s get started with the

first phrasal verb the first phrasal

verb is pick out pick out a phrasal verb

means the first word pick is the verb

very normal verb pick something and out

we can call the preposition or the

participle pick out pick out so the word

pick out the phrasal verb pick out what

do you think it means pick out pick out

means to choose something now a lot of

students know the word pick to pick up

something you can pick up a basketball

pick up a cat you can pick up something

you can even pick up a language but this

is not the pick we’re talking about pick

out pick out means to choose something

you can choose something so I’m going to

give you some sample sentences and the

first question on our the second

question on the phrasal verb outline is

can you break it up can you put

something between these two phrasal verb

parts can you break it up and the

question is yes yes you can break it up

so we can say pick it up pick it out I’m

sorry

pick it out you can say pick it out so

we can separate it so today when I tell

you my sample sentences remember that

you can put something in the middle you

can choose something and put something

in the middle

so my first sample sentence I want to

share with you with pick it out this is

a true story

my husband works at a coffee shop he

recently became the manager and he’s

very excited about this job especially

because well I’m excited especially

because there’s a lot of delicious

pastries at the coffee shop pastries are

sweets like cakes breads pies some sweet

things and there are some new cheese

cakes at his coffee shop but it’s

impossible to pick out my favorite one

it’s impossible to pick out my favorite

one this means it’s impossible to choose

my favorite one now we can say it’s

impossible to choose my favorite cheese

cake that’s natural it’s not bad but

let’s try to use the phrasal verb it’s

impossible to pick out my favorite one

it’s impossible to choose which one is

the most delicious there’s chocolates

there’s espresso there’s raspberry

there’s New York cheesecake there’s so

many different kinds there’s orange and

lime oh there’s many different kinds if

you come to the US I recommend eating

cheesecake I love it so it’s impossible

to pick out the best cheesecake they’re

all amazing now on the next sample

sentence is from the same story you know

what I’m not sure which one I want I’m

not sure which cheesecake I want why

don’t you pick it out for me why don’t

you pick it out for me

I’m asking someone else to choose

because the decision is impossible for

me why don’t you pick it out for me

so I’m going to tell you a few more

sample sentences but while I’m telling

you a few sample sentences I want you to

think about a sample sentence with pick

out pick out you could say yesterday I

picked out a new shirt to wear to my

friend’s wedding this is not a shirt I’m

going to wear to my friend’s wedding

just a sample I picked out a new shirt

or you could say it’s hard to pick out

which teacher I want to choose because

all of them are so interesting it’s hard

to pick out who will be the best if you

want to say any sentence with the word

choose you can just

stitute pick out I need to pick out some

delicious recipe to use for my dinner

tomorrow tonight I have some guests

coming over so I need to pick out

something I need to choose something to

serve them so let’s think about some

great sentences some sample sentences

with pick out pick out to choose

something and I’m going to check we have

some new comments here we have some

great comments Oh from Korea we have oh

he’ll son Kim welcome from Korea and he

heard about me from the all ears

English episode yes I was interviewed by

Lindsay yes so he listened to all the

episodes and he picked out that episode

and he listened to it and he found me

great Thank You Hyosung for joining us

today so let’s think about some sample

sentences with pick out pick out it’s

really hard to pick out my favorite

musical group because I like a lot of

music and I don’t really like all of the

songs from one artist I like a few songs

here a few songs there maybe I don’t

have a favorite artist so it’s hard to

pick out who is my favorite artist it’s

hard to choose any of them are okay how

we could say do you have a favorite

movie yeah I have a favorite movie let’s

see if we can find it at the store let’s

pick it out pick it out you’re picking

out something that you like pick out

picking out all right we have our first

sample sentence from Ron Elly thank you

for writing a sample sentence all right

Ron Nellie says I wanna very casual and

slaying there right natural I wanna do

my graduate abroad but I still don’t

pick the country out to go aha

you would like to study abroad but you

don’t know which country you want to go

to excellent excellent I want to do my

graduate study these abroad but I still

haven’t picked out

country I want to go to you’ve got the

idea great run le let’s see and Slava

says pick out a card from the deck yes

maybe you are a magician choose a card

pick out a card find what card do you

think is going to be the best card pick

out a card now I feel like because our

introduction today for the phrasal verb

training was a little bit long we might

go beyond in fact I’m sure we will go

beyond 30 minutes so I think ah those of

you who need to go after 30 minutes

that’s okay no problem but I want to be

able to finish all five phrasal verbs

today we have a lot of great interaction

so I want to make sure that we get all

of the sample sentences from the live

viewers the live viewers are our

priority right now so we have run le

didn’t pick out the country yet Slava

wants you to pick out a card from the

deck excellent excellent

ah let’s let’s see our next sentence

from Osama thank you yes he says I

picked it out you’re teaching training

when I listened to all ears English

especially when they hosted you ah thank

you for the sample sentence yes the only

change I would make is takeout it I

picked out your teaching program when I

listened to the all ears English podcast

I’m so glad you found me there that’s

excellent Antonio says oh hi Antonio yes

he says I’m in doubt about traveling

could you pick out some suggestions for

me is that correct yes Antonio we could

say I am in doubt about traveling I

don’t know where I want to travel if you

say I am in doubt about traveling it’s

very general I don’t know if I want to

travel so maybe if you don’t know

specifically where you want to travel

say I’m in doubt about where to travel

to could you pick out some suggestions

for me this is excellent pick out some

ideas for me beautiful Thank You Antonio

thank you in some Oh some wonderful

sense

says Utah hello you ties got some sample

sentences as well I picked out an

electronic car to save gasoline

ah yes these are quite popular these

days

you picked out an electronic car you

chose an electronic car

excellent Utah wonderful sentence yes

thank you a sama thank you - Thank You

Antonio and Osama and Slava and Rennell

a wonderful sample sentences thank you

we are going to move on to the next one

the next phrasal verb and if our

training goes too long and those of you

who are live need to leave we can always

split it into two parts that’s not a big

deal

the next phrasal verb the first one is

pick out the second one are you ready is

try out try out if you are following the

outline you know that try out is the

second phrase over try out now try out

is yes you can try something but you

also are testing something to test

something so thank you Hillsong for your

your comment I’ll read it after we

finish with tryout

just a minute don’t try out something

means to test something you want to test

something before you buy it

you don’t want to just buy something and

hope that it works you need to try it

out so can you break it up yes yes you

need to try it out before you buy it so

I’m going to give you some sample

sentences and as I’m giving you some

sample sentences please write what are

your sample sentences for try out my

simple sentences ah the first one is I

offer to all my students a 20 minute

trial lesson so that my English learners

can try out my lesson style they can

test my lesson style if they want to

continue with lessons they can if they

don’t it’s okay you’re not going to be

the best fit for everyone they can try

out my style so tell me what do you try

out what are you trying out what are you

testing or you could say you

what I’m not satisfied with my shampoo

I’m going to try out a new one I’m going

to try out a new one I’m going to get a

new one and test it to see if it works

better than my old one I’m going to try

it out or you could say you know what

before you buy a TV make sure you try it

out at the store make sure you try it

out try it out at the store you need to

try out the TV because maybe it’s not

going to look the same in your home

maybe the brand is good maybe all of the

the specs all of the technical words

about it are great but in reality it

doesn’t look that good so you need to

try it out at the store you need to turn

it on watch something on the TV and try

it out for me I don’t have a TV so maybe

I would say a computer you need to try

it out before you buy it I need to try

out the laptop I need to try out the

speakers before I buy them when my

husband and I were buying speakers we

needed some speakers for the computer we

went to the store and we tried out so

many different kinds of speakers we

played the same song on every set of

speakers to see which one was the best

so we tried out a lot all right we have

some sample sentences coming let’s read

one from Hyosung all right she also has

two sentences here one is from pig-out

and one is from try out so let’s read

the first one from pick out from the

last verb it has been a little bit

difficult for me to pick out a good

English book for the right level for my

English ah yes a lot of English learners

struggle with this trying to find the

best book the best textbook the best

vocabulary book and I’m trying to come

up with a list with some good ideas some

recommendations for books that you can

use for more natural learning so great

sentence Hyosung pick out an English

book now let’s read some try out

sentences testing something Hyosung said

I tried out reading a first few

ages before buying a book I tried

reading a few first pages before buying

a book excellent he tried to read some

pages maybe we could change it just a

little bit and say I tried I tried out

reading the first few pages before

buying the book yes I tried out reading

the first few pages before buying the

book excellent

see if it’s a good book try a few pages

and if you want to buy it you can buy it

great Alexander Alexander thank you for

joining me he says I’m going to try out

shadowing yes

shadowing is a pronunciation technique

that I’ve talked about in some of my

pronunciation videos I’ve used with some

of my personal skype students try out

shadowing you follow right after the

other person is speaking shadowing

excellent Alexander great sentence I’m

going to try out shadowing I hope you do

let me know how it goes and run le says

I want to try out this car before I buy

it

I think that’s buy before I buy it yes

please try out the car don’t buy the car

without trying it out first

Antonio says my wife is going to the

beach and need to try out a special

bikini is that correct

aha yes we could say my wife is going to

the beach and needs to try out a special

bikini maybe she wants to wear something

special to go to the beach Thank You

Antonio for your sentence all right

slava says before you buy any clothes

you want to try it out yes you want to

try out your clothes and this was a

problem when I lived in Korea many times

they wouldn’t let you try on clothes

they wouldn’t let you try out what it

looked like on your body so many times I

didn’t buy it because I didn’t I didn’t

have the chance to try it out before I

could buy it great sentence lava Osama

says so I’m a gamer playing video games

we’ve just bought the latest version of

FIFA 16 to try out today we don’t need

the it yes to try out today I

hope you have a fun time playing Fifa

I’m sure you’re excited about that great

you’re going to try out the video game

today and you Tess said I tried out

American movies not to use Japanese

subtitles oh this is a great thing to do

a good challenge for your mind so we

could say I tried out American movies

without Japanese subtitles I tried it

out I’m going to try it and I hope that

I can continue like that and Yuri hi

Yuri said my daughter tried out a karate

lesson before but she didn’t seem to

like it excellent and I really like your

expression she didn’t seem to like it I

know that’s not exactly the expressions

that we’re talking about today but I

want to let other English learners know

this is a very natural way to say I

don’t think she liked it I’m not sure

but I’m pretty sure that she didn’t like

it she didn’t seem to like it

it seems like it’s going to rain today

it seems like maybe he’s a little bit

stressed he’s not smiling like he

usually is seems like this is a great

expression maybe I’ll make a video about

it later so yes your daughter tried out

a karate lesson excellent sentence Yuri

and we are going to move on to number

three number three all right number

three is fill out fill out fill out what

is fill out that is a very useful word

when you’re going to an official office

embassy doctor’s office and it means to

write some information in the blank so

when you go to the doctor’s office

they’ll say can you fill this out

can you fill this out so number two

question can you break it up definitely

fill this out fill out this paper it’s

important to fill out the paper when you

go to the doctor’s office fill it out so

as I’m giving you some sample sentences

please be thinking of your own sentences

we’ve had a lot of great sentences so

far and I think of your own sentences

and I’ll give you some of mine as well

so one of my simple sentences is

this doctor’s office idea you could say

please fill out these forms fill out

these forms like the paper and return

them to me when you’re finished fill

them out so when you’re signing up for

something someone will ask you can you

fill out this box can you write your

name your email address

can you fill it out can you write in the

blank or maybe if you go to the US and

you’re not sure how to fill out the

paper because there’s some words in

English that you’re not really sure of

so you could ask the secretary or ask

someone else in the airplane maybe you

need to fill out a paper in the airplane

you can ask someone excuse me can you

help me fill this out can you help me

fill this out this is difficult for me

I’m not sure what to write can you

please help me fill this out and most

people will say yes no problem don’t

worry how can I help you or another

example is when you travel abroad if you

have traveled abroad and you needed to

get a visa I’m sure you have experienced

visa paperwork oh I hate visa paperwork

and when you want to get a visa you have

to fill out a pile of papers you have to

fill out so many papers this is very

annoying but if you want to travel

unfortunately nowadays it’s necessary so

you have to fill it out all right we

have some of our first sample sentence

is coming through so our first sentence

is from Ron le he says I had to fill out

a big form when I got my Spanish visa or

when I got my visa for Spain oh I see

run le so when you went to Spain you had

to fill out a big form you had to write

a lot of things on the form you had to

fill it out before you visited Spain

yes visas are very annoying you have to

fill out so

any papers thankfully most countries

have a choice to fill out papers in

English so if you for example if you are

going to Germany and you don’t speak

German they will probably have an option

for English so you’re here today

learning English with me you’re learning

English in your life so hopefully those

English papers will be available to you

and you can fill them out so let me know

some sample sentences when did you fill

out something when was the time you

filled out something all right

slava says I was confused but because it

can also be said as fill in to fill in

ah yes this is a good question Slava so

when we say fill in we are talking about

a specific place so maybe you’re given a

paper and the the secretary says can you

fill it out this is the whole paper

can you fill out the whole paper but

maybe you forgot one line she could say

oh you didn’t fill in this line this is

more specific like one specific line oh

I forgot to fill in that answer on the

test so this is a good question so Ava’s

asking about fill in and fill out and it

may be another time when I have a

phrasal verb trading for in I can give

some more details and I’ll make sure to

compare these two that’s a great

question fill in so when you’re filling

in something it needs to be a paper

something that’s a general but to fill

out something excuse me to fill out

something is in general filling in is

going to be specific fill in the line

all right if you have some sample

sentences please leave them in the

comments I’m looking forward to helping

you with your sentences and I know our

time is running short I said a 30

minutes and our introduction was quite

long we’ve had so many sample sentences

so if it is okay with you I’d like to

just continue if we need to go for 45

minutes it’s not the end of the world

more English training is

right so I want to make sure we can get

through the material and be able to give

as much feedback to you as possible so

if you have any more fill-in sentences

feel free to write them in the in the

chat box and I’m going to wait for just

a moment and if there are not any more

for fill in let’s go to the next one eat

out this is a very delicious word that

many of you probably enjoy eat out eat

out so let’s see our sample sentences

for fill out ossama says filling out

forms or official papers really drives

me crazy yes I did a video about drives

me crazy

you’ve got it yes it really drives me

crazy but it’s a must

whether we like it or not oh this is

another great expression it’s a must

this means it’s necessary and it’s a

must is a very natural way of saying

it’s necessary so filling up forms is a

must

whether we like it or not unfortunately

excellent sentence of someone very

natural oh yes thank you Slava and ah

yes make sure that you say fill out not

feel out Thank You Slava for reminding

us we need good pronunciation for these

phrasal verbs fill out fill out hi let’s

let’s move on to eat out eat out now

many of you I’m sure almost all of you

have experienced eating out eating out

means simply going to a restaurant going

to a restaurant it’s very useful anytime

that you go to a restaurant you can use

eat out you eat out somewhere so can you

break break this up eat it out no no do

not break this one up you need to say

eat out somewhere I like to eat out at

the local Indian restaurant eat out eat

out needs

stick together so don’t forget to keep

it together this is very important to

keep eat out together now as I’m telling

you some sample sentences I want you to

be thinking about your own eat out

sample sentences as well eat out so I’ll

tell you some of my sentences we could

say ah do you want to eat out I’m not

sure I have I have a lot of work to do

maybe I should just eat at home instead

of eating out eating out I don’t want to

eat out today or you could say I love to

eat out the food is more delicious I

don’t have to do the dishes I don’t care

that it’s more expensive but I do some

people don’t care so they like to eat

out eat out out outside the home eat out

so what is the opposite of eat out eat

out you could say eating out is more

expensive usually then eating in we

don’t say eating in quite as often but

it’s possible you could say I think I’m

just going to eat in tonight I’m not

going to eat out you’re going to eat in

in your house so I want you to write a

sample sentence with eat out tell me

where do you like to eat out what kind

of food do you like to eat out I like to

eat out at the sushi restaurant I like

to eat out four times a week oh okay I

like to eat out um at the sandwich shop

there’s a really delicious sandwich shop

up the street from my house and I like

to go there I like to eat out at the

sandwich shop and those of you who don’t

like to eat out hmm

you could say I don’t ever eat out I

don’t like to eat out

I hardly ever eat out I usually don’t

eat out so tell me what are some of your

sample sentences for eat out if you

you are watching this after the live the

live training you can also write some

sentences in the chat box that is there

is no problem with that

alright Slava thank you all you’re very

nice sentence here Slava says if I’m

ever in the US I’d like to invite

Vanessa to eat out Thank You Slava I

love to eat out this is a great

invitation I hope you can come visit

someday run Nellie also says I like to

call some friends to do some meals and

eat in eat in in my home ah yes so you

like to eat in instead of eating out

uh-huh this is an interesting sentence

let’s take a look at it I like to call

some friends call some friends on the

phone to make some meals and eat in in

my home or add my house I like to eat in

at my house ah so you prefer to make

meals to cook with your friends this is

excellent you like to cook with your

friends instead of all going out to eat

you’re doing an activity uh he’ll son

Kim says I hope I can eat out with my

family more often beautiful sentence I

hope I can eat out with my family more

often yes it’s very nice to share that

experience together I don’t know how

many people I forget what you told me

the other day how many people are in

your family but when you have a lot of

people in your family it can get quite

expensive so I understand it’s probably

a rare occasion but it would be really

nice to eat out with your family more

often and I know you are in Korea for me

I sometimes found eating out was cheaper

then eating in there were some cheap

restaurants and it made it possible they

were still healthy home cooking Korean

kind of restaurants it was almost

cheaper to eat out than to eat in it’s a

very interesting situation

all right Yuri has a great sentence it

says I like to eat out but I know eating

out too much is not good

for you oh thank you for talking about

health here this is an interesting idea

I like to eat out but I know eating out

too much is not good for you good for

you if you are also an English Learner

listening to this good for you simply

means it’s not healthy this is a very

natural way to say it’s not healthy it’s

not good for you it’s not a good idea

it’s not good for you to eat out usually

eating out is heavier maybe the portion

size is bigger in the US it’s definitely

bigger so maybe it’s not quite as

healthy for you not the best idea but

it’s good every now and then it’s fun

occasionally excellent let’s go on to

the final phrasal verb find out find out

and find out is a little bit trickier so

I want to be able to give some time to

explain it and give you some time to

think of some sample sentences before we

go to find out let’s read one final eat

out sentence from Osama Osama says

eating out with my real friends is one

of the greatest ways to relieve the

stress of work oh this is beautiful yes

eating out with my real friends do you

mean as opposed to your fake friends or

true friends like your true friends

people you really care about maybe we

could say that eating out with my true

friends is one of the greatest ways to

relieve the stress of work yes good food

always brings people together that’s

definitely true and I hope that for this

final phrasal verb find out there are

many other out phrasal verbs I chose

these five top five for the spinal

phrasal verb that you will also write

some great sample sentences so let me

tell you find out what does it mean find

out you know what find is to look for

something and aha I found it you can

find something and find out something

means discover something so this is

usually an idea it’s not something

physical

like I found my cup I found my wallet

this is a little different because you

are discovering you’re finding a new

idea you’re finding out some information

so can you break up find out can you say

find out find it out and the answer is

yes but I don’t recommend it now you

will hear find it out how did you find

it out you will hear that but we don’t

use it very often so if you hear it you

can try to think about what that

situation is and you can imitate it in

your personal conversations but in

general I want to recommend don’t

break it up break it up don’t break it

up keep it together

find out so I’m going to give you some

sample sentences to show you how to use

find out and if you can put it in the

middle what it will sound like and maybe

if it will have another meeting

so my first sample sentence and I want

you to be thinking of find out sentences

find out sentences the first one is

where can I find out how to improve my

English can I go to an English school

what website should I go to what book

should I read where can I find out how

to improve my English where can I find

out how to improve my English this is a

good general idea I need to find some

information how to improve my English

now the second sentence is I tried to

find out why my boss fired me I tried to

find out why my boss fired me but he

didn’t want to tell me I’ll let you

leave that to your imagination if it’s a

true story or not I tried to find out

why my boss fired me but he didn’t want

to tell me this is a very strange

situation I tried to find out some

valuable information I tried to learn

some valuable information

but they didn’t want to tell me or you

could say I don’t know what happened

last night but I’m going to find out

maybe your house is a disaster maybe

there are cans and food and everything

is everywhere in your house and you wake

up what happened in my house I’m going

to find out I’m going to discover what

happened find out but if you said

discover I’m going to discover what

happened this is a little bit formal

maybe we think you are an explorer go

into a new country I’m going to discover

my house this is a little strange so we

need to find out what is happening find

out find out what happened and in the

situation let me give you an example

with find it out your house it is a

disaster there’s cans there’s food

there’s stuff everywhere you wake up and

say what happened last night I’m going

to find it out you can say this it’s not

incorrect but it doesn’t sound very

natural so you might hear some people

say find it out but I don’t recommend it

so I recommend saying I’m going to find

out I need to find out what happened

alright thank you for writing some

sample sentences I’m going to start

reading and Ron Nellie has a sample

sentence and then I’ll get to you Slava

in just a second Ron Nellie said

yesterday I lost my sunglasses but today

I find out it in my car aha all right

let’s let’s take a look at this now at

the beginning of when I started to

explain find out I mentioned that it’s

not a physical thing you’re trying to

find an idea so if you want to find your

sunglasses we don’t need to use the

phrasal verb in this situation we can

just say I lost yesterday I lost my

sunglasses but today I found them in my

car because it’s something physical

something you can hold I found this

squirt gun this is

what I used to spray my cats if they

jump on my computer to get them to go

away

I found this yesterday so we need to use

find out with an idea I need to find out

where I need to go tomorrow I need to

find out what is the best way to learn

English so let’s change our sentence run

away just a little bit and take out out

now

Slava has a a sentence here I’d like to

read out loud for everyone I found out

that words like go out take out a

scalped may be referred to going out

Thank You Slava for all of these great

phrasal verbs yes I found out I learned

I discovered that words like go out I’m

going out tonight I’m going out to the

restaurant take out a scout may be

referred to going out yes these could

all be talking about going out somewhere

eating out somewhere excellent sentence

lava thank you for sharing those other

words giving me some more ideas for

other videos slava also says I don’t

know this is a casual way of speaking I

don’t know I don’t know who stole my

keys but I’m going to find out excellent

yes you’re going to find out who stole

your keys now for example with Ron le

sentence with sunglasses we can say I

don’t know who stole my keys but I’m

going to find them find the sunglasses

and find out who stole them you’re going

to find out who stole them and you want

to find your sunglasses he’ll sign Kim

says I found out Vanessa’s lessons were

worth watching

all thank you Hyosung he’ll suck I love

those kinds of comments it makes me feel

motivated to continue

I found that venice’s lessons were worth

watching excellent I’m glad that you

find them interesting

Osama says when we listen to some

interesting articles in English

especially as English learners

we’re often advised to find out new

vocabulary words in the PDF

version aha interesting so for example

do you mean there will be a list of

vocabulary words and you can read an

article and you can find the the words

on the PDF version so let’s see how we

can say this the most the most naturally

we could say when we listen to some

interesting articles in English

especially as English learners we’re

often advised maybe I would use a

different phrasal verb without oh this

is a great sentence you could say we are

often advised to check out to check out

new vocabulary words in the PDF version

to check out it’s very similar to find

out but check out means a quick thing

like oh just look just check quickly to

check out new vocabulary oh thank you

for introducing coming up with this new

idea for check out excellent osama check

out the new words and Oh Cheryl thank

you for joining us

ah Cheryl has a a sentence that is using

out she says please help me out for my

poor English so we say please help me

out with my poor English please help me

out this is another out phrasal verb wow

verbs maybe I should continue and make

another training with these great out

phrasal verbs help out help me out

excellent Cheryl you’re doing great help

me out ah thank you everyone for your

excellent sample sentences we have one

more from URI she says one of my friends

got divorced when she found out that her

husband cheated on her yes when she

found out when she learned this

information this is a great situation to

talk about found out she found out some

information

this is not something physical but she

found out some information about her

husband that he cheated on her so she

divorced him this is a excellent

sentence URI may be not an excellent a

situation for your friend but thank you
