One story one line

[Applause]

so

[Music]

[Applause]

[Music]

uh

[Music]

oh

[Music]

before she left home she made houses

[Music]

not big ones small ones

[Music]

for any gnomes or fairies that might

live in her frog pond

[Music]

[Applause]

[Music]

she was so busy making houses

for imaginary people

the real things living nearby

[Music]

little bees

i don’t want to play with you

[Music]

[Applause]

[Music]

[Applause]

where shall i hide where shall i hide

where shall i hide from these little

bees

[Music]

oh

it curved

over the dry earth

and arched its back

to the sky

[Music]

the grasses in her field grew so high

[Music]

that when the wind blew

you could hear it

but not feel it

laying there on a bent and folded raft

of grasses

enjoying a little space alone

little sense of place

[Music]

sometimes if you stay still long enough

the space in your head

becomes the space in the sky

[Music]

you wouldn’t think that a little girl

who

spent so much time making houses

enjoying time alone space

[Music]

you wouldn’t think that she would go so

far away

but she did

[Applause]

you
