Food Your Best Friend Maintain a Healthy Relationship

a diet is defined as a kind of food that

a person

animal or community habitually eats

however

countless people in the world do diets

as a shortcut to lose or gain weight

get healthier or to experience an

overall change in lifestyle

there have been numerous controversies

over health and diet where what is

considered to be the best diet

or what is eating habits are considered

healthy

the real issue in this controversy is

that many people don’t see

eye to eye on what is considered to be a

healthy diet

and the question of what leads a

successful

and realistic healthy lifestyle

in this day and age we can easily go to

the supermarket and be tempted to buy

the most unhealthy foods that are full

of preservatives

improper nutritional value and much more

we have to remember that the food

industry is not concerned about the

impact their products have

on our health or our size they use

marketing tactics

to make us consume more food than we

actually need such as minimizing the

serving size labels

and the majority of people who buy

processed food will overeat the serving

size due to their lack of knowledge

about the calories that are there in

watson

although one might not think so

corporations in the food industry have

quite sinister

intentions for not providing the real

calories that are in one product

the maximization of profits by causing

their customers to overeat their foods

this is a tactic the food companies use

to make people

overeat and while people are overeating

and struggling to lose weight

the diet industry will play their part

in order to

provide people with quick quick fixes

such as certain drugs

magical food that will make you drop

large chunks of weight

and other fat diet scans that won’t help

you out in the world

going on a diet implies dietary

restriction of some sort

insert the adjective of your choice low

fat low carb

low sodium gluten free or whatever other

kinds of diet

the most common of course is the weight

loss study

on top of the unethical food and diet

industry

the beauty industry is not helping with

people’s health either

while the beauty industry has personally

equated health with extreme

slimness often as a result of eating

disorders

however true health lies in achieving a

healthy weight

i myself have my own struggles with

weight

and weight gain at the middle school

simply due to the fact that i did not

have proper knowledge or control

over the food i was putting in my body

and more importantly

the amount of food i was in taking i was

not disappointed by

what i appeared but with the way my body

reacted due to the extra weight i was

carrying

i was out of breath easily i was

constantly lethargic

and tired from the beginning of high

school i started doing my research about

how i can regain my health back

according to the who worldwide obesity

had nearly tripled since 1975

and as a result medical problems such as

heart disease were on the rest

in today’s world eight percent of deaths

are due to this disease

most commonly being stroke high blood

pressure diabetes

cancer sleep apnea and so much more

i wonder how can i possibly reach a

healthy weight without negating

certain food groups or starving myself

or working out at the gym for hours on

end

this initiated my start to a journey

that i will continually endure for the

rest of my life

intuitive eating and high intensity

interval training

intuitive eating is learned is a learned

procedure

that rejects strict popular diets it is

a form of eating that helps one

understand

how to respectfully honor your body and

help i consciously

acknowledging your hunger making peace

with food that you

tend to overeat and discovering when to

stop eating

i believe that every person is different

and it is necessary

to understand that in order to lead an

ongoing healthy lifestyle

one has to discover their own diet that

works the best for them

while trying to stay under the

recommended calories

one should consume in a day my personal

journey with intuitive

eating made me discover that a ketogenic

diet was the ideal

i was ideal for my own health a

ketogenic diet consists of consuming

large percentage of high fat

foods and moderate amounts of protein

rich foods and a very low percent

of carbohydrates this diet when followed

properly

helps the body burn fat rather than

burning carbohydrates

helping the fat percentage of the body

to go down

following this diet is a game changer

for me as i have struggled with

overeating as a habit

i was consciously aware about the

nutrients that were going into my body

and over time i was able to have a

healthy and conscious

relationship with the food that i wasn’t

taking therefore the true solution

to leading a healthy lifestyle is one’s

personal diet that is chosen by me

and the intake of food preferably a

consistent one

as the definition of a diet is whatever

you eat on a regular basis

the more your diet is based upon real

foods such as legumes

foods and natural sources of protein and

fats

while practicing into intuitive eating

by restricting the calories

that you may over consume you will be

leading a healthier lifestyle

and ultimately initiate your own health

journey that hopefully lasts a lifetime
