and i have been running the conscious
advertising network for about six months

to speak in
when it comes to the climate crisis
what corporations do over the next few
years
is existential and we can't leave it to
a small group of people to determine
our global fate no matter what we do for

first of all thanks a lot uh arjuna and
chilika for inviting
uh for this talk and i hope i can uh
do justice to myself so my talk is all
about my journey to antarctica and what
it really tau

to solve it back but back in 2014 when i
first

about 15 years ago i had the first job
directly related to climate change in my
life and
i was really excited i was working for a
department in the northern territory

what have i gotten myself into
what have i gotten myself into you know
that feeling
you know that feeling it's the feeling
you get when you
take on a challenge which at
so i'm clearly
a baby boomer and baby boomers were the
first
tv generation so i grew up with the
golden age of television
50s 60s and into the 70s
and that also means the golden age of
television adve

north queensland fishing frogs from the
toilet
and dodging snakes that hung from the
ceiling
wetting down old sea turtles stranded at
low tide
