we hear a lot of
noise about hydrogen recently and
most particularly hydrogen as a
potential fuel for the future
but what actually is hydrogen and how
can we
most importantly use it

and we talk about an international
university of choice
anchored in africa and dynamically
shaping the future
when i talk about dynamically sh
at the start of this year
i was running a workshop on sustainable
innovation inspired by nature
this workshop was for master students in
product design
and it was part of a bigger assignment
from the

imagine a world in 2030 where access
to a better quality of life is available
for everyone
a real sense of community is within
reach
you can propose new ideas for example
building a new park

in 2009 i decided to leave a corporate
career
i started in california's silicon valley
all the way to the uae's oil and gas
industry
learned a lot met relative success but i
i want to also acknowledge that we are
gathered here today
on nunual and nambri country on unseated
land
and pay my respects to nunawal and
nambri ancestors and their descendants
i'm going old school

by taking a moment to show respect and
recognition for the ancestral lands of
the menehowac people
people who were removed from northern
virginia but who live o

so growing up
the kitchen was the heart of our family
gatherings we'd sit at the table and we
would watch my grandmother cook and
listen to her wisdom
