good afternoon everyone
when i introduce myself as a person
working in the field of rural health
care
you know it evokes a range of reactions
amongst people how often

i'm dave langer um i'm the chairman of
neurosurgery at linux hill hospital
uh part of the northwell health system
i've been here since 2013.
uh you may remember me from lenox hills

my dad died
and i think i have something to do with
because it was during those first few
intense days of
intense grief that my grandfather said
to me
you're a doctor you saved so many
and yet

it has
unfortunately been far too long
since i have visited a museum
but i do still love the idea of history
told through art

eight months prior and i went to my
doctor for my annual visit
