our story begins back in 2016.
one thing that you'll learn about me by
the end of this talk is that i love to
tell stories
share stories and listen to stories
however

a little over 30 years ago
i went off to college wanting to study
leadership but because i also grew up
the son
of an air force officer i grew up
wanting to become a pilot
so i chose the naval

emerging

in august 2008
i almost died after weeks of intense
neck back and migraine pain
i collapsed unconscious on my bathroom
floor
luckily my husband was home at the time
and immediately called 9-1-
penny and her husband were my last
patients for the day
penny was this amazing preschool teacher
and she had this passion for taking care
of autistic children
her only concern around having surgery
