what does it take
to banish self-doubt and embrace radical
self-leadership
my journey started on a thursday night
about 15 years ago
when my night school students were
finishing up their final

i do believe that i was audible

uh tonight i want to talk to you about
effective communication
in short i'm going to give you three
principles of effective communic

most of us assume many roles in our
lives
i'm an engineer i was a corporate
executive for many years
now i'm a university management
professor but above all
i'm a dad and i am what some may ca

you know i've had
the pleasure of hosting sauron gangly
when he was the captain of the indian
cricket team he was kind enough to give
me so many interviews
and once he uh left cricket he
worke
when you try to define a leader
it's really looking at someone who's
taking charge or taking
a step forward when you think of leader
the most immediate examples that come to
mind
are the leaders we kn
half a day everyone
i am a pacific islander of chamorro
descent
and as a student of management i've
always wanted to share
my notion of what leadership is
from an islander perspective
specifically fro
buenos aires
here at the university of guam we've
been thinking about the idea of island
wisdom
as a component of our strategic planning
a component of island wisdom is the idea
of island leadership

to april 2020. we in the uk were in the
midst of our first national lockdown
and like many of i'm sure i resorted a
fair amount of my time
