A Multiinstrumental Livelooping Performance

my name is ed keen i’m a
multi-instrumentalist
live looping performer basically what it
is that i do is i use this loop pedal
here on the floor to record
and layer together all these instruments
that i have around me
it’s a great pedal it’s it’s quite a
restrictive way of performing
doing live looping because you only have
the first loop you do and everything’s
layered around that and bringing things
in and out making it sound interesting
and not get boring it can be quite
difficult with loops
so being restrictive you have to be much
more creative with it which is brilliant
it’s great a lot of fun i’ve been
performing a long time
since 2007 and mostly at festivals
across the uk but i’ve been very lucky
to have performed abroad
around the world with other live looping
performers at live looping events and
things like that which has been
fantastic seeing other live looping
performers
is really interesting because it because
it’s you on your own
um you’re really you know the style of
the music for everybody is very
different
really shows your character if that
makes any sense um now like i was saying
like i like to use
this pedal there’s loads of other pedals
out there but the boss rc50 i find
the the best one possible for me uh it
has
everything that i like to use for
performing everything that i could need
