a diary was written in a building called
the secret nx
eight jews were hiding in the secret
building hoping
not to be found the diary was about
adventures
of a young girl living in that secret
building
at the age of 14 she wrote one
of the most sensational diaries known to
this world
this young girl and her diary have
inspired many of us
to write more you might be wondering
whom i am talking about it is none other
than the one and only anne frank who
wrote her diary
during world war ii i can shake off
everything as i write
my sorrows disappear my courage is
reborn
said anne frank ann starry was like her
second show
showing colorful sparks of vivid
imagination
and describing her personality
and pen was mightier than the weapons of
war
and didn’t wait to make a difference you
could be like anne
sharing your story for everyone to know
hello everyone i am priyanka and i am

to share with you about the power of
writing
let me tell you a little bit more about
my writing experience
a few years ago i wrote a story called
the bucket list detectives as a hobby
then on my eighth birthday my dad
printed the story
into books and gave them to the party
guests
once people read my work they sent
emails of appreciation
and encouraged me in many other ways the
next year
i wrote another story called lyanna’s
adventures in wonderland
part one it’s my pleasure to share the
power
that writing brings to change people’s
lives including mine
now i can communicate my creative
thoughts
through my writing and connect to
authors with similar viewpoints
writing created the interest in me that
made me
want to explore more but i knew
i couldn’t have gotten this far without
all the encouragement i received
i thank everyone around me for their
support
nowadays people use gadgets and
technology
for almost everything but written things
such as books
and letters are also very important and
useful
how did we get to know about the ancient
civilizations through scrolls and
papyrus
written centuries ago how
do we still have william shakespeare’s
fascinating entertainment even now
because he wrote his marvelous dramas
epic poems and sonnets on paper
how did we get to know about the great
revolutions
that changed the world
through writers such as lenin and their
wonderful work
but these great writers are also great
readers reading
is a big aspect of writing
books can give you inspiration and an
expanded vocabulary
through this you can make your writing
better and inspire
many more as we are talking about
writing
i would like to share with you an
acrostic poem called spring
that i wrote during my spring break
so lovely spring pretty plenty bring
rain dances when you sing i don’t know
what your colorful rainbows think now
is a time for the bright light that
shines gazing
at the meadows spring brings writing
is a benefit to this world writing is a
great superpower
one piece of writing can convince the
entire world
writing shows who you really are and
what you really feel
writing is the art of reinventing
yourself so why wait
i hope you are all now inspired to write
and help making this world a peaceful
and happier place
